Andrew AND MARINA’s Wedding

What a DAY!!! I can’t stop gushing about Andrew and Marina’s incredible wedding day at Gray Silo Lavender Farm.

Within the first few conversations with Marina about their wedding, I knew we were going to absolutely love her and Andrew, and when we met at their engagement session it pretty much sealed the deal. We were in love! To say we have the best clients is the biggest understatement, and Andrew and Marina were no exception!

After a hiccup with their AirBNB, Marina got ready at the Day’s Inn in Stouffville, and they were so accommodating to them and us.  We legit took over their lobby for our dress and detail shots and they were happy to help!!

Be Wholehearted Beauty did an absolutely incredible job on the hair and makeup.  Marina and her sister are natural beauties, but the Wholehearted team enhanced all her natural beauty and her hair and makeup looked just as perfect at the end of the night as it did in the morning (even with the girls crushing it on the dancefloor all night!!!). And of course, Marina absolutely stunned in her Christina Wu gown. So beautiful!!!!

Right before heading to the venue, Marina took a few quiet moments to read a hand written love letter from Andrew, which I always absolutely love.  It’s those sweet moments in the hustle and bustle of getting ready that are so meaningful. That guy… a class act!!!

We got to Gray Silo Lavender Farm, the ceremony and reception venue, and even though we had popped by that morning to set up our lighting and had already seen it, I was floored all over again!  You all know how much I love this farm, but the wedding here took my love to the next level. It was PERFECT!  The barn is absolutely gorgeous, and with the venue and Marina’s décor, NEXT LEVEL!!!! Guh I will never stop gushing over this!!!! Another shoutout to Dave and Michelle, the farm owners, for their dedication and style and overall awesomeness!

The ceremony was so special as it was split between both Andrew and Marina’s dads, and they did a beautiful job. From there, Andrew and his mom shared a beautiful song together for those tying in on Zoom and then we got the BEST surprise when Andrew shared the CUTEST song he wrote for Marina. I swear it was stuck in our head all weekend.  Andrew, when you release your first album, send us a copy because it was PERFECT!  Ah these two just make my heart so full.

We worked with Same Day Edits for the first time, and they were an absolute delight to work with and we had a blast with them!  We cannot wait to see the wedding video!

Oh, did I mention there was a stinking HARPIST!?!!! I died. Gracelyn Wu is incredibly talented and it added such class and beauty to the ceremony. Plus she was super sweet, which never hurts!!!

From there we enjoyed a delicious meal by Cibo, and their staff was gracious, helpful, and just all round amazing.  Our second wedding with them this summer and they are consistently professional and serve DELICIOUS food!

After all that, everyone danced the night away to Jared Hall, one of the best DJ’s we have had the pleasure of meeting (like he was just an incredible person plus his skills were off the chart!!!) It was hard not to just dump my camera and dance the night away!!

I could literally go on forever about this wedding. It was absolutely perfect.  Marina and Andrew, we are so happy to have met you, so honoured to have photographed you, and so grateful we gained two beautiful friends. We are so happy for you.

Check out the sneak peek video below for a look at their day in all it’s incredible glory!!
